Greek yogurt is awesome. Straining off the extra whey makes for a concentrated protein source with just over 100 calories that is satisfying and delicious. The problem is finding a good Greek yogurt that is affordable, made with real ingredients, and widely available so I don’t have to make a special trip just to buy some.
Rich and creamy, and made with simple ingredients (no pectin or xantham gum here!) Chobani yogurt is my new favorite. They had it at my local Safeway grocery store for about $1.25 each, in four flavors. And about that protein: a whopping 16 grams in a little 6 oz cup! That’s more than a third of your entire recommended intake! I love this as a mid-morning snack.
