Rinse and repeat

Having finished a hat in just two nights, I immediately cast on another – this one much more fanciful!

This is a slouchy beret-like hat. The twisted 1X1 ribbing is nice and stretchy, and there’s a simple lace pattern in the poofy crown. Last night I plated up some cheese and crackers, with almonds on the side (and birthday chocolate for dessert!) and settled in with a cup of tea, my knitting, and several episodes of The Office.

I finished it right before I turned in for the night, but I was too sleepy to take a photo so you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see it. 🙂 Two hats in four days, not too shabby!

Pattern: Arrow (Ravelry link)

Yarn: Mochi Plus, 2 skeins, in Tapestry Rainbow (used almost all of it)

Needles: Size 5 (US)

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
