Not quite hats

There are times that a full-on hat is unwanted. When you are wearing your hair up, for example. Or if you have really curly hair. Or if you just don’t want to risk “hat hair”. For those occasions, a headband is often the answer. Knit in a sturdy and warm 1×1 rib, these Morning Walk headbands are stretchy and versatile. I love the flower accent, and what a fab way to use my jar of buttons!

I’m knitting up a bunch of these for Christmas gifts this year. Great use of stash, too – each takes less than a skein of yarn. Booyah!

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
