Pink posies

Last night I cast on a new project, a Helena baby sweater in lovely Dream in Color “Smooshy” sock yarn, in a soft pink colorway. It’s just a wee bit of fabric right now, but the thing I love most about knitting baby items is how fast they go. Well, actually – the thing I love most about knitting baby items is how stinkin’ cute the babies look wearing them! I’m knitting the smallest size, on US 6s. I like the yarn-over raglan increases on this. Check out how the colors are pooling slightly so that one side is ‘darker’ than the other:

The colors should even out since I’m still doing increases. What continues to be wonky is my iPhone — it likes to turn some pictures upside down, for no apparent reason.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
