Striped sun hat

I am working on a cotton sun hat for a wee friend; her mom bought the cutest little dress in wild, swirly colors and I was able to find cotton yarns to match in my stash (let’s hear it for a robust stash!). This is a simple little hat, and I just started the brim so it is almost done. All of the knitting so far has been done while watching Battlestar Galactica episodes. I used the ever-wonderful Random Stripe Generator to get the colors working in a funky way that will complement the dress, and being all cotton the hat should be nice and cool while providing some shade to the girl’s fair complexion this summer.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
