Rainbow toes

Been thinking about Christmas and what I want to make for presents this year. Picked this fun yarn from the stash and cast on for a pair of socks. Yarn: ON line Supersocke 100 Holiday (picked up at a LYS). Pattern: Rivulets Socks, in the large size. I don’t have a circular needle small enough so I’m using DPN’s and going to do my level best to avoid SSS. I am a little concerned about yardage, so I plan to knit the first sock past the heel, then stop and do the other to the same point. I will then weigh the remaining yarn and divide it in half to finish the socks. That’s the plan, anyway.

In other news, Amelia is now five months old and has shown no signs of slowing down. If anything, she is more energetic than ever, racing through the house and leaping from high places.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
