Like a moth

The clouds and rain returned to Seattle today and everyone seemed to be a little less cheerful, a little more melancholy. I was no exception, finding myself yawning and reaching for caffeine and sugar to keep my eyes open.
It was like a moth to a flame, then, how my eyes were drawn to this girl’s hair. Colored hair is no anomaly around here, but hers was magnificently bright, exactly what I needed to lift my spirits on a drizzly day. Vibrant orange glowing against the teal under-layer, you can’t help but look.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
