Riding the wave

I’m on a bag kick, which is great because I have a lot of cotton yarn. I like the “Grrlfriend Market Bag” pattern – a square base and then worked round with one handle. I do mine on a 25/25/50 basis: 25 stitches in each triangle at the bottom (100 stitches total), then 25 ‘holes’ (50 rounds) of the body lace pattern, then a 50-ridge (100 rows) garter handle. Seems to be good proportions for the standard kitchen-weight cotton yarn, on a size 6 needle.
