Stay-cation

Having a foreign exchange student is a fabulous “excuse” to take a few days off work and enjoy the sites that we take for granted living in Seattle. Yesterday we took a boat over to Tillicum Village for the salmon dinner and Native American show, then we enjoyed the sunset from the new ferris wheel. Today we are heading to the Pike Place Market for a bit of breakfast and fish-throwing, maybe some shopping. Dinner with family this evening (slow-roasted ribs and corn on the cob!) to finish the day. I could get used to this. 😉

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
