Magic in a can

For anyone who doubts the interest that kittens have in eating quilt batting while you are trying to baste a quilt together, I offer this photo:

Last night I picked out my lame attempt at hand-quilting, and this morning I laid the quilt out on the table to re-baste it. Only this time, I used a can of magic that I can’t believe I hadn’t tried before.

Spray basting is sheer genius. No pins, no basting threads, no shifting. All three layers are now lightly adhered together and I’m about to bring my sewing machine in to do some quilting.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
