Rockefeller Shawl

After a bit of trial and error, I finally decided on the mods I wanted to make for the final clue of the Rockefeller Mystery KAL. Most of this won’t make any sense to you unless you are also knitting this shawl, but here are my mods: I did the first three setup rows only over the first 46 stitches , I reversed the shaping so that the bottom edge of the shawl has the decreases, I am doing the icord edges in Color A only, and I’m continuing the neck edge Color A section to tie it all together. I decided to stick with the garter knit stripes after all – it will eliminate any curling and make for squishy, stretchy ends to tie or wrap around my neck.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
