Fridayitis

The end of summer upon us and a three-day weekend is fast approaching. We’ve got several people in the office on vacation, and our clients are also apparently enjoying the last bits of sun because the phone isn’t ringing much – all of which made today feel like a Friday.

It felt so much like a Friday, in fact, that on my lunch hour I went to the Barnes & Noble blog and looked up the “Free Friday” book for my nook. Except it wasn’t free. I clicked through three or four times and each time the book insisted on a $7.99 price tag. I read the comments to see if folks were complaining about this glitch. Honestly, it was several minutes of me searching and clicking and searching some more before it dawned on me that today is only Tuesday…

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
