Green baby cardi

It’s a new day, and I do what I usually do after life has thrown some bumps in the road: I read, I relax and think about all the things I have to be grateful for, and of course: I knit. Hubby and I are fine, house is a mess, and life goes on. My sister is an amazing, loving person and she cheered me up too. There’s a nice bruise developing on my knee where I banged it into the counter yesterday, but there’s no lasting damage.

Forging on: I decided my eight-row mistake on the green baby sweater was just fine. It was the neckband, and the slight gauge difference will actually work out well so I left it. I’m almost at the point where I’ll separate the sleeves from the yoke.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
