Goodie bag

Look what I got today!

It’s a goodie bag from the annual Seattle To Portland Yarn Train event, which happens next month and is organized by the Snohomish Knitters Guild. A bunch of knitters from the greater Seattle area take the train, and descend on Portland, Oregon for a day of yarn store hopping. In preparation, they offered goodie bags that you could purchase. Fun stuff in mine!

There’s a skein of Shibui baby alpaca / wool lace weight yarn, several knitting patterns, a fabric shopping bag, a small drawstring project bag, a notions kit, a mini skein from an Oregon dyer, a bookmark kit, coupons and fliers from Portland businesses, a lighter (to test fiber content), candy, and a map of the city. Plus the adorable large project bag from Stitched On A whim. Lovely stuff, all of it. I am really looking forward to the event; should be a lot of fun.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
