Garden anywhere

It’s a good trend: more people are planting gardens, large and small. Ours is in the backyard, but it wasn’t always – to the chagrin of one neighbor, for several years I grew ours in the front yard. It gets the best light.
Our neighborhood is undergoing a change in its demographic, and lately we’ve seen more folks taking care of their houses & yards – and this year, two new examples that a garden can fit in anywhere.
These guys put two large planters right in the (small and hard to use for anything else) front yard; so far they’ve planted strawberries and something under glass jars.

These guys tucked a little triangle in beside their driveway; they’ve got peppers and radishes in amongst a few perennial plants.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
