Several days of not-walking, thanks to a cranky knee followed by a cut heel, left me with a bit of time to spin. This is only the second roving I’ve spun on this wheel, and we are still getting acquainted – but the plying went well and I think it will be a fun yarn for a hat or mitts. It’s merino / nylon, probably meant for sock yarn but the wool was a bit neppy and I didn’t want to spin it that finely anyway.

Snickerdoodle doesn’t care about spinning; she just wants to snuggle with daddy (she loves him best).

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
