Gone wild

I’ve been super busy the past week and haven’t paid much attention to the garden, other than to put the sprinkler out every other night or so. This morning I went out to see how things were doing, harvested the first zucchini, tied up the tomatoes, clipped some chard, and then saw the radishes.
In my absence they’ve established their own government and are assembling an army. I’ve never seen radishes this big!

The ones on the right are “normal” sized; the rest are bigger than my hand, the size of small potatoes. Usually when the radishes are left too long they just go to flower, but these haven’t – they’ve just gone super sized. Wonder if they will taste ok.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
