Preparing to be thankful

We are hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year, and expect around 25 people to join us.  Oops – just got a phone call, looks like a last minute addition. It’ll be cozy, but it’ll be great! We have plenty of food, and folks can always sit out on the porch.

I’ve got the cranberry sauce made and a pan of pumpkin bars in the oven. Extra dishes are washed, serving bowls rounded up, and snacks planned. Curtains washed, pictures dusted, and floors swept. Tonight I’ll get the kitchen all cleaned up so I can really mess it up tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a very happy Thanksgiving; I hope you get to spend it with friends and family, and ‘gobble till you wobble’. 🙂

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
