Randomly on a Monday

We had a busy weekend, with shopping and gardening and eating and theatering (saw Young Frankenstein at the Seattle Musical Theatre, was great fun!), and even a little soap making. Not much knitting.

Actually, that’s a lie. I did plenty of knitting, but it ended up being ripped and reknit three times, so while the needles were moving there is almost nothing to show for it. More on that later (as in, after I figure out what the heck the directions are trying to say).

For today, how about some random photos?

Saw this on the freeway. No idea what’s in there, but apparently it weighs 10,400 lbs. Looks sorta like a space ship. Or dinosaur bones.

I ate this, and it was goooood.

Single pancake at Lil’ Jon’s.

If you have ever wondered what I would look like as a platinum blonde, here ya go:

Got a pretty good picture of the Space Needle the other night:

And we spent some time in a toy store on Saturday, where we played with a Sphero (FUN!) and then was baffled by these games:

We couldn’t even figure out the point of the games (they look like puzzles). Made me feel pretty dumb.

And Marta is still keeping tabs on me. She was impressed with my lunchtime walk today. Seattle is a hilly place, which Marta translates into stairs.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
