Hat trick
From the depths of the stash, a skein of malabrigo that I got as a gift. Lovely colorway – Dusty Olive. It wants to be a hat, so I cast on a Hat No. 5. Uninspired name, but nice cables.
Cowl time
One-skein merino/alpaca cowl in grey; soft and squishy! Fresh off the needles: And the City Creek Cowl, also finished this weekend: That one is 14″ around right now (by 13″ tall) but the pattern says to aggressively block it to … Continue reading

Back up the bus
One of these days I’ll learn to listen to my Inner Knitting Voice. The IKV is usually right, and it would save me a lot of time and frustration if I would just stop when it tells me that things … Continue reading

Stick-to-it-iveness
I’m trying really hard to stay focused on just a couple of knitting projects, though I struggle mightily with the desire to Cast On All The Things. Must be the cold, rainy weather. I have a good bit of my … Continue reading
