Since it was already out

I was going to put the crochet hook away after I finished the Ondine shawl, but then I figured I might as well use it to start a scrap-busting project. This is a small blanket, made with sock yarn scraps, in a classic chevron pattern. Simple, mindless commuter project (until it gets to large to deal with on the train).

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.

This will be one of those projects I grab for mindless knitting – maybe commuter, maybe movie time, maybe knit night. Since it’s scraps, the final size is undetermined (in other words, i can quit whenever I get tired of it!)
