Speaking of blankets

I started this afghan quite some time ago; made a billion granny squares and even got some seamed together before all the ends made me go a little crazy and the blanket got stashed in a bag. It was going to be my ultimate scrap-buster, using up a few tons of worsted acrylic. I’m not sure I got all the tiny squares done, but most of the other squares are finished and labeled – so I pulled the whole thing out today and got reacquainted with Babette.
I found the assembly diagram, seamed a few squares together, and wove in some ends; it’s still too warm to have a large project draped across my lap, but I can work on small sections.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
