Playing catch up

It’s been a busy week! We got the electrical permit for the porch, and the Mr finished pulling wire for the ceiling lights. He’s working on modifying a light switch in the living room, to accommodate the extra fixtures.
I got several (Christmas) knitting projects done.

Rainbow cowl

Infinity scarf

Wool hat

Mitts, in Mochi Plus

And I cast on a couple more.

Top-down hat with reclaimed wool.

Willow Cowl, with my handspun.

I am still making progress on the non- matching socks (am midway up the legs), but with the holidays quickly approaching, I feel the drive to switch to gift knitting for awhile.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.

  1. Gift knitting is very important at this time of the year 🙂 You seem to be getting on well with it all 🙂
