A bit of Barley

I finished a little cashmere baby hat today. The yarn was reclaimed from sweaters, and it’s very soft.

I had lots of knitting time today because I took the day off, the Mr cleaned the house yesterday, and I did a cookie swap on Sunday so I didn’t even have baking to do. Presents are wrapped, too. Yay! Nothing to feel guilty about and I got to just sit and relax for awhile.
After I finished the baby hat, I cast on a Barley hat in a lovely alpaca /wool /silk blend. I love this yarn, may have to get more.

PS: the body of the Orange baby sweater is finished as well; just needs sleeves.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
