Linen stitch

A little bit of kismet in action in this yarn / project pairing. I spun this up right after getting my WooLee Winder.

I was learning, and so it’s a little under-spun, with thick and thin bits. But it’s soft – so I thought it would make a good cowl. I searched for bulky cowl patterns, and found one that is just linen stitch.
Funny thing is, the example cowl on the pattern is the same colors as my yarn! It was meant to be, so I cast on this morning.

The stitch pattern is doing a good job of hiding the inconsistencies in my yarn, while allowing the colors to shine.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
