Cotton washcloth

Whipping out a few washcloths for the summer festivals. Easy peasy! I do a modified version of Grandma’s Favorite:
CO 3
Knit across
K1, kfb, k1
K2, yo, k to end *
*repeat until 45 stitches across*
K1, k2tog, yo, k across
Repeat previous row
K1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end *
*repeat until 5 st remain*
K1, k2tog, k2
K1, k2tog, k1
Bind off

The two rows in the middle help make the cloth more square. I like this version and have made quite a few; here’s one just past the halfway point.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
