New for new

This is one of the stuff sacks I got at the Army Navy Surplus.

It’s got a drawstring at the top, and a handle on the bottom. It weighs practically nothing, and squashes down to about the mass of a walnut. Plus, it’s rip-stop nylon. Perfect for socks.

Lucky for me, I have a lot of sock yarn. Like this lovely skein, which has elastic. And look at those stripes!

Simple 3×1 ribbing, 68 stitches around. And yes, I’m using dpns – because my sock circulars have a different pair of socks on them, but they are already in a bag.
It’s knitter logic.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.

  1. Oh yes, that logic makes perfect sense! And I totally love those stripes, I see what you mean 🙂
