Totally tubular

Most of my yarn stash is, well, stashed away in order to make room for some houseguests, but I kept several things accessible – including a partial skein of Goth Socks yarn. A friend is knitting her kids tube socks (which are less quickly outgrown), and I thought that would be a marvelous way to use up small bits of sock yarn (and I happen to have some kids in my life). So I cast on a pair, in this lovely self-striping sock yarn.  They move along pretty quickly when there are only 40 stitches around.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure. This blog is mine; it is a place where I can insist upon proper grammar or break my own rules and degrade into slang on a whim. Either way, it's still mine. I love the Internet.
