My second weaving project is off the loom – a scarf made with yarn scraps. The top end turned out tighter than I wanted, I guess I need to work on the hemstitch, but otherwise I’m pretty happy with the results. The edges are even, the tension was decent. Dare I pull out a real skein?

pretty 🙂 And totally go for a ‘real’ skein
That’s an awesome beginning weaving project. It looks totally pro! I have a friend who is a devoted weaver and if you decide to get into it, you will be amazed at what you can do. I’m speaking from the experience of seeing my friend evolve with her weaving over the years. You can even make tailored clothes without sewing much!
