Pause button

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a pause button on life? Just, hold on a second. Let me breathe.

After the craziness that was 2020 I sorta kinda thought that 2021 would be easier somehow. More predictable. Less frantic.

Alas, that is not the case. (does anyone say “alas” IRL?)

It’s not all bad – just so busy. It’s like time keeps speeding up – I mean, it’s already August.

I’ll just focus on the crafty things I’ve got going on right now:

A sweater for the oldest grandlittle. A shawl for me. Two quilts that need binding. A bag of cucumbers to pickle. A soap studio that is 90% painted.

I’ve been watching Grey’s Anatomy (from Season 1), and it’s funny how often it thunders in their version of Seattle. It almost never does, but we did last night. Was hoping for rain, but no.

About wonkydonkey

You want random? You got it. Mostly knitting and gardening, with some home improvements, pets, baking, family, and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure.
