Ondine on pins

She’s done! Ondine is happily blocking, with help from blocking wires because I was having a time getting all the picots pinned out evenly. As-is she measures 15″ deep at the center back, and 45″ in diameter side to side; … Continue reading

On the edge

Back to Ondine – I was having trouble with the picot edge; I’ve done picot in knit before but not crochet, and it took me several tries to get it to look good. I’m happy with it now, though, and … Continue reading

Cheater, cheater

Poor Ondine. Just one row to go and she gets set aside for something newer and shinier. Well, not exactly shinier, but a bit stripyer. (is that a word??) A ball of Ella Rae Seasons fell into my stash last … Continue reading

More Ondine

Stripes! And a fair number of stitches on the needles already.

Ondine

I caved and started a new project, despite the tower of WIPs in my craft room. It’s an Ondine shawl, in Opal and Amethyst colorways (yarn by FiddleKnits). It is very difficult to capture the opal-ness of the Opal yarn; … Continue reading
