A quick spin
That little Milo vest is done and blocking! I’ll show you later. I also finished the second pair of Fetching mitts; they look exactly like the first pair so you don’t even have to use your imagination. 🙂 I took … Continue reading
Yakity yak
I finished that grey cowl, and I also finished a project from the hibernating WIP box – so I felt justified in casting on a new project last night. This is a Pretty Thing cowl, which I am knitting in … Continue reading
Almost-not-quite-done
When I’ve finished knitting a project, I’ll say, “I’m done!” and the Mr. will point to the dangling yarns and say, “What about those?” He has a point. I can’t claim to be done if the item still has ends to … Continue reading

There’s a rainbow on my head
I spun this up ages ago. A couple years, probably, though I can’t find it in my Flickr account to verify. It’s Dicentra Designs and I just could not walk away from the rainbow cheerfulness. It’s been my eye-candy on … Continue reading
Cowl update and new socks

Chugging right along on the cowl!
Juliet Poe Cowl
Kismet stepped in and the day after I spun up that lovely sport-weight yarn, I read a  post from The Sock Monkey wherein he blogged about his new cowl pattern, and I immediately knew that the Juliet Poe Cowl was … Continue reading
Sunday spin-in and a new stove
The weather this weekend was perfect for staying indoors; it rained pretty much the whole weekend, but that was OK because our new stove was delivered on Saturday! This is our first new stove, and we are so excited! It took … Continue reading

Spun
Saturday’s spinning project is done and dry; approximately 169 yards of heavy worsted. My Navajo ply skills aren’t fantastic so it’s not the smoothest, but still very usable yarn. Should be enough for a simple hat.
